Nate's newborn session

Nate smiles more than any baby I have ever met, which made my job very easy during his newborn session.

His smile is so contagious!

J.J. is such a great dad!

J.J., Nate and Polly are an adorable family!

Even when he sleeps he smiles! He is such a sweet guy!

J.J. and Polly -- I enjoyed getting to spend time with your family!

Welcome Emerson!

When Sam married Krissy last June, he gained two great kids, Brennan and Drew, as part of his family. It was perfectly easy to see how much they immediately loved each other, and none of them knew the boys would soon have a sister, sweet Emerson!

They are so adorable together!

There's nothing like a newborn baby, and Emerson has already brought a lot of joy to her family and their friends. Ron and I are so glad to have you as friends Sam and Krissy! Congratulations to you and the boys on your beautiful new addition! We love her already!

Maevis' First Year Session

Maevis' parents hired us to commemorate her first birthday, which was so much fun! We created some girlie settings to fit her adorable personality.

Needless to say, she loves balloons! How cute!

What a smile! We enjoyed hanging out with your family, and we loved seeing how Maevis has grown. She is a beautiful, little girl.

Christmas Mini Sessions

Ron and I were surrounded by some very cute kids during our Christmas Mini Sessions. We started out with a Santa-Claus-outfit-clad Hannah Kate, who seems to be saying, "I hope you've been good this year!"

Hannah Kate was full of adorable, little smiles.

Then, our little friend, Eli came to visit. He really loved playing with the giant candy cane!

You have to love Eli's full, rosy cheeks.

Madison was our third photo subject of the day, and she did a great job! Her dark purple dress was gorgeous.

She is turning into a lovely young lady.

Madeline was our last photo subject of the day. Her energy and laughter were inspiring.

We had so much fun with Madeline, we even made it snow a little.

Thanks to all of our friends who participated in our Christmas Mini Sessions. We had a blast. Merry Christmas to everyone!

Karston's Newborn Session

Sweet Karston is almost two weeks old, making him the perfect age for a newborn session. He was surprisingly content.

Tender moments

I love Karston's tiny hands!

Thank you to the Worley family for allowing my mom, Becky (from Jessica Hope Photography) and me to photograph some beautiful moments.

Jacob's Fall Session

We met up with Jacob and his mom, Jennifer, for a fall photo shoot on Sunday. Despite the cold weather, they were both troopers.

Look at his sweet, little grin! He is so adorable. You could easily see that he and his mom love each other very much!

Curiosity is such a great thing. Somehow, we end up losing it as we get older. However, two-year-old Jacob has plenty of it. I loved watching him play!

We were playing the "I see you" game. He would point to his eye as he said it. That was just too cute for words! Thank you for being such a great subject Jacob, and thanks to Jennifer for letting us hang out with Jacob!

Billingsley Family Photo Session

The Billingsley family hired us to do a fun session for them during their recent visit to the Smoky Mountains, and the folks at the Barn Event Center in Townsend were kind enough to provide several scenic backdrops for the photos.

We had fun photographing these kids, and we tried to just let them be themselves.

Each of the kids had his/her individual personality.

How precious is that?

Splashing in the waterfall was pretty tempting on such a hot day! I don't blame the kids for playing in the water!

This was such a sweet moment! I am glad it was captured on camera.
Thanks again to the Billingsley family - I hope you enjoyed the rest of your vacation!
Of course, I would also like to thank The Barn Event Center in Townsend!

Maevis' christening

Tony and Molly hired us to shoot sweet, little Maevis' christening a couple of weeks ago.

She has an adorable smile!

It's so sad to see her cry, but it was a very touching moment
and made for an interesting photo opportunity.

Molly's dad officiated the ceremony, which was such a nice, heartwarming touch.

See how sweet she is?

Tony's family gathered for a group shot.

Tony's mom took her turn holding Maevis.

Then, it was Molly's mom and Tony's dad's turn to hold her.

Babies are such a precious gift. I know Maevis is one very loved child. Thanks to her family for inviting us to be part of this wondrous occasion.

Ryleigh's First Birthday Shoot

Ryleigh's mom, Whitney, brought her in a few weeks ago for a first birthday shoot.

Whitney special-ordered this dress, which was incredible.
Hot pink and purple tulle make an incredible combination.

What a beautiful pair!

Ryleigh has the some outrageously gorgeous blue eyes.

This is one of my favorites!

She loved her rocking horse!

Thanks for coming by for a session! You guys have a gorgeous family!
